The Universe by definition includes everything
that is in existance. Most scientists believe
in the BIG_BANG theory which implies that
about 15,000 million years ago there was a
huge explosion that was responsible for
throwing out large amounts of matter that
condensed later into the galaxies then the
stars that we see today.
It is very difficult to perceive the size of
the Universe, scientist use HUBBLES_LAW, but
if you can imagine that with the naked eye we
can observe about 3,000 stars on a clear
night, in each GALAXY there are at least
100,000 million stars, the largest telescopes
can detect 100,000 million galaxies all split
up by vast amounts of open space.
